The college is an official center of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), which is conducted by NIASA (National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture), Pune. NIASA, the academic unit of COA (Council of Architecture), is a national level institute of excellence that facilitates advanced research in the various fields of architecture for teachers, professionals and students of architecture.
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is required for admissions to the 1st year of the 5 year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree course at all institutes/ schools/colleges of Architecture in India. It measures the aptitude of the applicant for the specific field of Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a period of time and that are related to architecture.
On the basis of the course content specified in the Council of Architecture handbook, the candidate would be required to register themselves at one of the schools of architecture, which would also act as the examination center.More information on NATA can be found on www.nata.in
