Bachelor of Architecture

  • A candidate who has passed 10 + 2 examination and has secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate with mathematics as subject of examination shall be eligible for admission to the first year of B.Arch. course.

    OR

    10 + 3 Diploma (any stream) recognized by Central / State Governments with 50% aggregate marks.

    OR

    International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.All admissions to Bachelor of Architecture degree course shall be subject to the scoring of at least 80 out of 200 marks in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture.Merit list will be prepared considering sum of 50 percentage weightage of the aggregate marks of all subjects of the qualifying examination and the 50% weightage of the valid NATA Score.

  • 1. Admission Process for Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.)1. To apply for Bachelor of Architecture at SMMCA, the first requirement is to clear NATA test. Our college is the official center for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).

    2. After clearing NATA, Bachelor of Architecture admissions for all the colleges/universities in Maharashtra are conducted through a centralized process by the Maharashtra Association of Schools of Architecture (MASA).

  • The total intake in 1st year B.Arch. is 120.

Master of Architecture

M.ARCH IN ARCHITECTURE EDUCATION

  • The college offers a full time two year post graduate program (four semesters) in Architecture Education. The course is recognized by the Council of Architecture (COA) and the Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to Rashtra Sant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University. (RTMNU).

    The primary objective of the course is to impart professional training in strengthening their expertise in design teaching, education and practice.

  • B.Arch degree from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks with/without valid GATE score.

  • The total intake for the course is 20.

    Admissions are based on personal interview conducted by the college or competent authority.

M.ARCH BY RESEARCH

  • The college offers a M.Arch. by research facility also.
  • B.Arch degree from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks with/without valid GATE score.

PhD in Architecture

  • Smt. Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture has been approved as a Research Centre by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur and Council of Architecture, New Delhi. It offers Ph. D. programmers in a wide range of areas of Architecture, Planning, Urban Design, etc. The college also encourages research in interdisciplinary areas through a system of joint supervision. The medium of instruction in the college is English.

  • The eligibility for admission to Ph. D. (the Doctoral Research) is:

    Masters degree in architecture or allied subjects or equivalent qualification.

  • The candidate is supposed to clear the Pre Entrance Test (PET) conducted by RTM Nagpur University and appear and clear the RRC to be eligible to take admission to the PhD Centre. (For further details Refer Website of RTMNU).

  • Part Time: In service candidates, candidates who are employed as faculty / staff / project staff working in any Technical Institute or candidates working in any public/ private sector organization who are desirous to pursue Research on part-time basis.
