She explained the range of projects that she has worked on in the field of urban design & public space design. Also explained their core philosophy & the projects they undertake & also the various stages that are involved in the project in detail. She then explained 2 of her important urban projects in detail that she has worked upon i.e “Singapore Rail Corridor Competition” & the other one was “Public space design & Management Plan”. |
| 16th Jul | Guest Lecture was held on 16th July 2021 by Ar. Ashutosh Uikey, who is currently working at the post of Additional chief Planner at CIDCO, Navi Mumbai. He has worked as a Town Planning Officer(TPO) for Chikhaldara. He gave a crisp presentation on Chikhaldara from its present population, location, Project Area delineated by CIDCO, Chikhaldara’s famous tourists points, potentials & also explained the concept behind planning of Goal Marg, ecotourism, proposed viewpoints, nature clubs, residential, commercial zone & DP. He also explained the developments in Town Area & other potentials in detail. Finally the session was ended by an intensive series of Question & Answer session. This Guest Lecture was mainly planned for the Students of Master of Urban Design for their studio project on Chikhaldara Town proposed by CIDCO. |
