Green Building Congress: Ar. Rashmi Tijare and Ar. Madhuri Gehani from SMMCA

To realize the vision and to advance the green building movement, IGBC has been organizing its annual flagship event ever since 2001. It has been evoking excellent responses from the stakeholders over the years. Almost 18 years later, the event has now grown to be one of the prestigious annual flagship event of India with leading national and international stakeholders converging at the event to grow and learn.

Just like its early editions, the IGBD conducted its conference but this time its 17th edition of Green Building Congress 2019 took place in Hyderabad at HICC. A team from SMMCA did participate in the conference and learnt a great deal of ongoing trends in the industry.

CII is also assisting to execute some green corporate citizenship programmes and their partnerships with the civil society organizations are carrying forward the development across the various domains. The SMMCA team attended the 3-day flagship event which was an international conference, concurrent session and speakers, international exhibition with the award programmes.
